What do you think is the most significant contribution Filipino Women make to the country?

I believe Filipino women are phenomenal and absolutely amazing. We wear so many hats and we make it happen— we build homes, we nurture families, we cultivate relationships, we mold lives, we create and sustain businesses from homes and offices, we innovate and invent sustainable solutions and we inspire others to do the same. We lead people, both at home and in our communities. See, so many hats and so many roles to play!

I believe the most significant contribution of Filipino women in our country today is advocating and fighting for a more equal future that we all deserve to live in. That requires strength, stamina, grit and determination. We are making conscious, collective and continuous efforts in breaking gender bias in the country. I’d like to believe we are inspiring other countries and communities to do the same.

When I think Filipina, I see someone standing tall, chin up, uplifting everyone around them with a smile on her face. The epitome of strength and resilience.

What’s your best advice for Filipino women to achieve success?

For me, success is making a positive impact in your work, in your community, in your country. Go for it—jump, dive or fly. With both feet in. And flash that smile as you do.

PS: You’re amazing. Don’t make anyone else try to tell you otherwise.

ABOUT ME: Tech-smart, business-savvy, down-to-earth. Connector of people & ideas.

I often introduce myself as someone who has failed in business several times since the age of 16, not because I am proud of my mistakes but because I value failure as a catalyst for success. I have since dedicated my life to helping others succeed.

Community, entrepreneurship and technology are at the heart of everything I do. I run a number of businesses and initiatives with a focus on providing a platform for women to harness technology for success.

I was invited by LinkedIn to be part of their LinkedIn Speaker Series and be among the 106 inspiring and innovative thinkers from around the globe. Read about it here.
