Aloe Vera – The Natural Choice For Relaxation

Aloe Vera And It's Healing Properties | Connected Women

As you may already know, Aloe Vera is a wonder plant. It boosts a range of benefits: anti-ageing, anti-wrinkle, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving and more.

The sap found within the plant’s green leaves has remarkable calming and healing properties, containing vitamins and minerals, enzymes, amino acids, natural sugars and agents – all around a healing plant!

Aside from its healing properties, Aloe Vera is great for the skin. If you want healthy, youthful, radiant skin then Aloe Vera is a natural choice. Just look at these benefits!

  • Smoothens, cools and cleans skin
  • Helps tone skin
  • Makes skin soft and radiant
  • Diminishes wrinkles, acne, pimples, age spots and blemishes
  • Lightens dark spots on the face
  • Minimize cracked and dry skin
  • Acts as a natural barrier and shields skin from dangerous toxins
  • Relieves heat on the skin caused by sunburn

When you do use raw Aloe, just remember not to include the yellow substance on the inner side of the leaf skin when you extract the sap. The gel you extract should be clear.

Make Aloe Vera a regular part of your daily skin care and calming routine. After a long, tiring day, slather a soothing face night cream to give your skin a youthful, radiant glow in the morning! Here’s the skin-calming recipe to get you going.

Soothing Aloe Face Night Cream

Ingredient

  • 50 grams aloe vera gel
  • 50 grams chopped cucumber – peel removed, roughly chopped
  • 50 ml distilled water

Directions

1. Mix ingredients into a blender until smooth.
2. Smooth the mixture over your face before going to sleep and leave overnight.
3. Rinse your face with warm water in the morning.

Unlike other recipes that are good only for one-time use, this recipe is great for several uses. Just keep the cream refrigerated for up to 7 days! 🙂
