1. Spelling, Grammar, Punctuation

Your content might be amazing, but poor spelling and bad grammar can be highly distracting. You don’t want to lose potential customers this way, do you? Proofread, always!

2. Relevant Content

Your website is meant to support and further your business, so have content that points visitors in that direction. Of course, as the author of your site, you can get as creative as you want, but ensure it’s within business relevance.

3. Seo For Copy And Image

SEO (search engine optimization) simply means increasing the quantity and quality of traffic to your website through search engine results.

If you want more visitors to your site – the kind your business needs, then use SEO hacks like incorporating the right words and links in your content. This should be ready before you launch your website.

Also, use attractive, relevant images to break the monotony of words, keep your page more interesting and to strengthen your message.

Make sure the display text for the images renders when you hover over it – good alt attributes will take care of that. Alt tags and title tags also make your website more discoverable.

Lastly, make sure your image size is not too large – not everyone will patiently wait for your website to load.

4. Responsive, Have You Checked?

This allows your website to effortlessly adapt to desktops, laptops, smartphones, and tablets and allows standardized viewing.

Remember, websites that aren’t mobile compatible rank much lower on Google searches. More important, the world functions through smartphones, and if your website isn’t optimized for mobile, then you risk losing valuable potential clients.

5. Contact Information

This sounds obvious, but don’t forget to add your contact information.

Think of your audience and how they would like to contact you. A phone number and email address are essential. You could also add links to your social media to satisfy diverse audiences. Maybe Skype as well, to chat better.

Once you’ve double-checked everything on this list, you’re all set. But it’s also a good idea to get a second opinion from the experts. Ask technical wizards to navigate your site to see if something could be improved functionally.

Ask someone else to read through your website, because a second pair of eyes is invaluable for weeding out errors and giving you a fresh perspective.

This little extra effort in fine-tuning will go a long way in the successful launch of your website.
