What do you think is the most significant contribution Filipino Women make to the country?

Creativity and possibilities. I believe the power of women that may seem sometimes stronger than other is really rooted in the ability to give to birth. I’m definitely not saying all women should experience giving birth – and of course i definitely believe it doesn’t make you any less if you choose not to. I’m saying because of this possible ability – women are instinctively able to go through hardships and challenges with the eyes of hope, creativity and possibilities. When one is pregnant or giving birth, the truth is — there is no going around it, but rather just going through it. There is significant value in just going through something, having the courage to push forward.

When times are tough like in this pandemic, we need people to say – things will get better. Even if things doesn’t seem to get better, in hope, we see light, creativity and possibilities. And with those, life will DEFINITELY get better.

What’s your best advice for Filipino women to achieve success?

Quoting Walt Disney, “Keep Moving Forward.” Success in truth is how you go through the journey to your goals and dreams. Success isn’t the end-game, it’s the continuing experience of the journey. Keep moving forward, Filipinas. You have so much gift, value that the world very much needs right now. You are worthy of having it all.
