What do you think is the most significant contribution Filipino Women make to the country?

They say, the hand that rocks the cradle, rules the world.

As women, we hold the heart in our homes, in the family, even in our work place. Educated Filipino women who are virtuous and grounded can shape this country towards progress.

Starting with nurturing the right leaders in every home. Living simple lives without jealousy or envy of other people’s lives. Supporting our spouses to be better than they are. Staying firm on our convictions and staying true to our purpose.

Filipino women are influential. Their impact on the community is indubitable.

What’s your best advice for Filipino women to achieve success?

There is no formula for success, but there is one for a happy and contented life. It all comes from what is in your heart, your reaction to the world around you, your motivation, sense of purpose and your faith that God has created you to be happy. Finding that happiness in our hearts may be a life-long journey, or we can find it when our knees touch the ground.

ABOUT ME: Tech-smart, business-savvy, down-to-earth. Connector of people & ideas.

I often introduce myself as someone who has failed in business several times since the age of 16, not because I am proud of my mistakes but because I value failure as a catalyst for success. I have since dedicated my life to helping others succeed.

Community, entrepreneurship and technology are at the heart of everything I do. I run a number of businesses and initiatives with a focus on providing a platform for women to harness technology for success.

I was invited by LinkedIn to be part of their LinkedIn Speaker Series and be among the 106 inspiring and innovative thinkers from around the globe. Read about it here.
