One question that keeps coming up over and over again during all my workshops is What is my Purpose? We are all looking for that answer; the answer that gives our life purpose and meaning. The answer that gives our business a bigger picture and more clarity around an existential Why? question.

Make no mistake - stress kills. It wreaks havoc on your sleep, can cause severe headaches, ruins your focus and much more. So, I’m handing you my five time-tested ways to beat stress and reduce tension in your everyday life.

Let's talk about what happens when life (read: work) seems overwhelming, and you're struggling to find air to breathe. I have been there many times myself … from those years when I was a caregiver to my first husband, to later in my life when I was running multiple businesses at the same time, to my current situation where I am mastering the job with no real name: “kids-husband-business-parents-friends-self”.

We live in times when you can have, do or become anything you want … yet many people still feel unaccomplished and trapped in their everyday routine. They work hard during the entire week in order to be able to have some weekend fun, and when the party is over, they return to the boring and often frustrating routine.

I thought it would be mighty relevant to write about how you can find yourself a business mentor to help you navigate your way through life and business. From my experience, starting a new business can be tough and no matter what you do, you will have daily problems that need to be solved. These can become real issues if you mishandle them.

One thing I strongly believe in is TEAM. Yup, you only have 24 hours in each day and you can't do it all yourself. You need to get yourself a team! But you can't just stick a bunch of people together and hope for magic to happen! You need to know what you're doing so you can nurture and cultivate a championship team!

Success is just another goal. It is doable. It is tangible. It is possible for anyone to achieve. So why do some people have success easily, while others try very hard all their lives yet never get there? What differentiates those who make it from those who don’t? What is the secret to success? Is there a secret?

I've shared a lot about getting to know people and building relationships. But one of the best ways to get to know someone is by actually listening. Listening is more than just hearing what the other person is saying: the sounds coming out of their mouth. It also means comprehending what they are saying and being able to give feedback to show that you value what they have to say.
