Is Being Stuck Actually Easier Than Being Unstuck?

I remember when I was feeling stuck in my life many, many years ago. All I wanted to do was stay at home and watch videos. Or mope around and complain to my friends about my situation. Or just cry.


And when help was offered to me to pick myself up, I felt overwhelmed. It felt like I needed to do lots of

work to get myself out there. And I just didn’t want to do any of it.

It all felt so tiring – even before I actually started doing what I needed to do.

And then I read a line somewhere that said: Your feelings are not facts.

That how I realized that feeling something doesn’t make it a fact – and that these feelings may not be true.

That woke me up. I realized that I may have been listening to a false reality.

The truth was that I really wanted the help, but it was just too scary. I made all kinds of excuses, like I couldn’t afford it. And that it was too inconvenient to go there.

But I snapped out of my excuses, and decided that if I wanted a better life than what was in front of me then I had to do whatever it took to help myself.

How can anyone help me if I was not even willing to help myself?

I dug deep and even got the funds. When I made the decision to help myself, I saw the opportunities I needed to assist  me in getting the necessary amount.

It was liberating!

I was unstuck in a matter of days. Things looked brighter, and clarity just came to me like the break of dawn.

You too can have clarity, and become unstuck. You just need to make the commitment to do what you have to do.

Three Things To Remember To Get Unstuck:

1. Your feelings are not facts.

2. Being stuck may feel easier than the process (going through growing pains) of being unstuck, BUT being stuck means you are dying, not living.

3. Get the help you need — via a book, a coach, a friend, a mentor, a program, anything at all! Anything that gets you out of the rut, towards a change of direction for some movement. Remember: Movement is LIFE!
