Financial Passion: Responsible Money Talks

Everything in our life starts with desire. In a way, passion is another name for that fulfilling desire that fuels you and the purpose you are working on.

In this series, we will cover the mindset behind money and the world you might have built in your head revolving around it, followed by a very popular topic of money habits of women, and our finale on this series is the power of compartmentalisation.

Most of us know that money is not everything but everything does require money. Therefore, it’s good once in a while to check in with our belief system as very often, without realising, we tend to sabotage our own dreams with one or few limiting beliefs about money.

Check On Yourself

“What gets measured – gets managed.” – Peter Drucker

Have a check of your “money” thoughts that you keep in your subconscious. Have you felt at any point in your life that you are self-sabotaging when it comes to money? Is there anything from your childhood that holds you back from making money? Once you have figured it out with some soul searching – fix it immediately. Just look into the limiting belief and exchange it with a powerful money belief, such as “I love money, as it makes me free. I reach my goals by managing my money well. Money is an important priority in my life”, and so forth.

Know Your Why

“Allow your passion to become your purpose, and it will one day become your profession.” – Gabrielle Bernstein

It’s very important that you know your purpose, your driver for doing what you do, in anything in life. As Steve Jobs once said, “Don’t settle until you find what you love doing.” Trust that your heart will know it once you find it. Keep looking for it, and once you find it, have the courage to pursue it and keep it. You can only successfully monetise your idea when you are clear about why you are doing what you have decided to do.

Logical-ise Your Emotions

Never let your emotions overpower your true intelligence.”

Women are emotional beings, but these same powerful emotions can serve as a double-edged sword. Being too emotional about small, petty, unnecessary things can sap away your time, energy and, frequently, your money too. Being aware of your emotions just makes you more powerful in handling them in any circumstances. One way is to accept whatever you are feeling and check if that feeling empowers you or disempowers you. Once you create this logical system, you will soon find you have more time, energy, and more money.

In summary Financial Passion has a lot to do with your soul searching and being constantly reflective in your thought process about “Money”.
